Yesterday, Saturday, 10th May 2025, was a black day for both the FUTMINNA student community and the GKtv family. We were struck with the heartbreaking news of the loss of SHAKIRAT, a 400L student of ABE, also known to many of us as BABYKEERAH. Her untimely passing has left a deep void in our hearts, and this is the reason why GKtv has been offline for the past 24 hours.
SHAKIRAT was more than just a student; she was a vibrant and active member of the GKtv community, bringing energy, creativity, and life to everything she touched. Her contributions to our media space will never be forgotten.
🕯To those who knew her, she was a light, always bringing warmth and positivity into our lives. As we mourn this great loss, I pray for her soul to find peace in Jannat al-Firdaus. May Allah grant her eternal rest and give strength to her family, friends, and all of us who have been touched by her presence.
This is truly a time for sober reflection, as we remember SHAKIRAT’s spirit and the joy she brought to our community. May we find solace in the memories she has left behind, and may her legacy continue to inspire us.
